The CVA was formed more than 30 years ago to support the village. A committee of volunteers works through the year to organise events like Open Gardens which brings visitors from near and far to the village, “Catcott Come Dine With Me” which gives villagers a chance to get to know their neighbours and meet newcomers, and the annual community lunch. There is usually an annual event often held at the village hall with food and music.
The funds raised by the CVA are spent in the village: we support St Peter’s Church, Catcott Primary School, and the Catcott Playing Field, and we provide and maintain planters around the village. The CVA organises clean-ups to keep the village neat and tidy through the year.
