The CVA was formed more than 30 years ago to support the village. A committee of volunteers works through the year to organise events like Open Gardens which brings visitors from near and far to Catcott, the Safari Supper which gives villagers a chance to get to know their neighbours and meet newcomers, and the annual pensioners’ lunch.
The funds raised by the CVA are spent in the village: we support St Peter’s Church, Catcott Primary School, and the Catcott Playing Field, and we provide and maintain planters around the village. The CVA organises clean-ups to keep the village neat and tidy through the year.
