- Catcott Community LunchIn January every year the CVA has organised a lunch for the over 65’s which we have subsidised from funds raised by the CVA. Last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic. This year the CVA are unable to subsidise the event as fund raising has been affected by the pandemic. So we are renaming the event to Catcott Community Lunch and opening it up to all Catcott Residents. The meal will cost around
- From Clapping to BakingRemember back when we were clapping for carers in the early days of the pandemic? Well now the Catcott Village Association are coordinating a project called “From Clapping to Baking” where the intention is to send cakes and biscuits to the staff in all departments of Musgrove Park Hospital to keep up their morale over what is likely to be a difficult winter. - Catcott Sunflower Competition Results 2021The results are in for Catcott Sunflower Competition 2021 The winner is Colin Prichard coming in with a whopping 416 cm (13ft 8in) Second place went to Shirley and Derek Hooper at 340cm (11ft 3in) Third place went to Lottie and Ben Chad with a 316cm (10ft 6in) specimen All three winners live along Manor Road which obviously has the perfect micro climate for tall sunflowers or could it be the magic green
