Welcome

Welcome to the website for Catcott village in Somerset, produced by the Catcott Village Association. The aim is to provide information for villagers and visitors, to keep you up to date with events and happenings in and around Catcott and provide information about the village and the surrounding area.

Gerry Wheeler

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our life president Gerry Wheeler.

Gerry was a founder of the village association and a great supporter of village events, especially our annual open gardens event for which he made his collection of vintage limousines available to allow visitors to ride around the village in style. The cars were a big draw that made the event unique and allowed us to raise significant funds for the village association.

Gerry was a generous man both with his time and resources and he made a real difference with his support for local charities.

Gerry will be greatly missed and the committee offer their deep sympathy to his friends and family.
