The theme of this year’s scarecrow competition has been chosen by pupils at Catcott Primary School : it’s World Sport 2016.
In a year when the Olympics will be staged in Brazil, and England, Wales and Northern Ireland are competing at the European Championships, hopefully teams of scarecrows in sports kit will be appearing around the village.
The competition is organised by the Catcott Village Association to coincide with the Open Gardens event which this year will be on Sunday July 3rd.
