Welcome to the website for Catcott village in Somerset, produced by the Catcott Village Association. The aim is to provide information for villagers and visitors, to keep you up to date with events and happenings in and around Catcott and provide information about the village and the surrounding area.
- CVA to appear on Clash Of The Professionals
The Catcott Village Association will have a team taking part in Clash of the Professionals on the Simon Parkin show on Radio Somerset on Tuesday the 30th July. The segment will go out at around 11:15 am. We have been chosen as gardening professionals because we organise the annual Catcott Open Gardens Day. Let’s hope we get a few answers right and don’t embarrass the village too much. You can listen live on DAB or - Thanksgiving Service for Colin Pritchard
It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of Colin Pritchard. He was a great supporter of village events and of St Peter’s Church. He will be greatly missed. The CVA offer their sincere condolences to Jane and the family. There will be a thanksgiving service at St Peter’s on Monday July the 22nd at 11am and afterwards at the Village Hall Edington. - Chloe Marie Aston the Piano Bike Girl at Open Gardens
Chloe Marie Aston is the Piano Bike Girl and she will be performing around Catcott on the afternoon of Open Gardens - Catcott Come Dine With Me Sign Up by Saturday 4th May
Just a reminder that Saturday the 4th of May is the last day for Catcott residents to sign up for this year’s Catcott Come Dine With Me which takes place on Saturday Evening 18th May. In exchange for hosting up to eight people for one course you get to enjoy a 3 course dining experience. It is laid back, non competitive and open to all (singles and couples alike).
