It is with great sadness that we have to tell you of the passing of Syd Jones on Friday 15th December. Many of you will remember him and his late wife June, who died on Boxing Day Last year, from their smiling presence at the village coffee mornings and other village events as they were both very much part of the village and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.
His family have asked us to let you know that the funeral will take place at St Peter’s Church on Monday the 22nd of January at 11am, with the wake at the Crown afterwards.
