The 28/11/25 Public Meeting resulted in the key outcome being an almost unanimous ‘Yes’ to the question:“Do we want the King William to be a thriving Community Hub/Pub?”The meeting concluded:The King William Hub/Pub can be viable but only with strong Community support.A

Catcott is serviced by Somerset Waste Partnership and their website is https://www.somersetwaste.gov.uk/ visit them to find out when your next collection is due. Currently the recycling boxes are collected every Wednesday and these include paper and cardboard in the black

Catcott Neighbourhood Watch is part of the Polden Neighbourhood Watch Group which now includes a total of 8 villages. We jointly benefit from shared information sent by the Police whilst also being able to communicate easily between villages regarding suspicious activities

Bus: The bus service connecting Catcott to Bridgwater, Street, Glastonbury and Wells and villages in between is operated by First following the collapse of Webberbus while Somerset County Council considers the long term future of the route.  There is an hourly service
