The Open Gardens event went ahead despite the rain. Scores of visitors toured the 15 gardens that opened their gates. They were transported between stops in a fleet of magnificently restored cars provided by Catcott-based Vintage Wheels. 
The event is held annually by the Catcott Village Association to raise funds to support groups and organisations in the village and for other events in the year.
Visitors were able to enjoy teas and ice creams and the tower at St Peter’s Church was opened.
